Battery maintenance for a secure power supply
When the emergency power supply kicks in, it does not always have to be a matter of life and death as in an operating theater for example. Computer centers, supply stations and other public facilities must also be able to rely on fully functional emergency power generators if the worst comes to the worst.
The lead-acid batteries used for this purpose are normally rarely used. But they must deliver full power when needed. The catch: batteries are subjected to a continuous flow of current over a long period of time and only rarely discharge. This is not the case with regular battery maintenance. The consequence: the quality of the free electrolyte in the lead-acid decreases significantly. In a worse case scenario, the battery capacity can be reduced and operation limited.
The solution: regular maintenance with our GIONATEX Regenerators for lead-acid batteries for reliable emergency power when needed.
